Why is the thumbnail for this post the ass-end of a Jetta? On my way home from work tonight a gaping asshole in a gray Jetta was dissatisfied with my "right on red after stop" decision. When the light turned green he blew his incredibly loud horn and shot past me only to jam up against the standard parade of cars proceeding along Roosevelt. Basically he shot past me to get nowhere. So i followed him for a while. I wanted to see why he was in such a hurry... what was it about the extra 15 seconds i cost him. Was this somebody important? OR, would he pull into one of the several parking lots along his route and apologize for being a jerk, or, give me the chance to vent some of the rage i've been waltzing with for the past year. Alas nothing happened... he drove normally until i got sick of staring at his ass and turned off.

It took me long enough to remember, but what i found funny about this scene was its similarity to the old (expensive) BA commercial with all the people dressed alike walking in the shape of a mouth, an eye... and, uh, was it an ear?

This post has apparently caused confusion. First, let's examine the language of this post vis-a-vis the other posts by me. Is the tone similar? Would it not be fair to say i sound a bit more angry here than normal? Note also i cast any actors who would actually consider killing a dog as "ignorant." Note that i actually describe the species in question as "Dachshunds are a difficult breed to train. Afterall they were bred to hunt badgers, one of the most ferocious mammals around. If a small dog goes after a badger it had better be a fairly stubborn dog with great belief in its abilities to fight in close quarters. Such an animal is, by nature, unlikely to be of modest temperament." Is that derogatory? Unfair? Hostile?

Honestly, i can't help but feel if readers would take the time to actually read rather than react we'd all get along better.

Also, given where this text appears i also can't help but feel if anybody has an opinion on my words they take the time to put it in writing in the form of a comment.
